There is as well an additional featured called the Boom Boost which can grant extra bonuses. They are used to buy new playable characters, every fifth upgrade for a character, and can also be used to prolong gameplay and to purchase other incidentals such as Event ticket's and storage for upgrades. Throughout the levels Red Star Ring's can be found (only five can be found on the course per day) however, players can purchase them as well, or obtain them from Prizes. Accumulated Rings can be used to purchase further content in the game, such as items and upgrades. Like its predecessors, Rings can be collected throughout the levels or purchased via microtransactions. The goal is simply to run as far as possible without hitting a wall, falling off the course, or taking a hit with no Rings in the characters' possession. The playable character automatically moves forward at all times, so the player has to utilize the characters' skills and movements to avoid or overcome obstacles.
The game is an endless runner, where the player directs the playable characters through never-ending 3D levels, collecting rings and avoiding obstacles, mines and enemies. With all the new additions in the Sonic Dash 2, the game is a lot more fun than the hedgehog players have experienced before.Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom uses many of the same gameplay elements from Sonic Dash. You also get to earn exciting prizes in the events and SEGA challenges daily. Collect points and run with magical sprites by conquering new obstacles as you race through the tracks in the Sonic Boom world. There are special powers also, which will help you to earn additional points, like, Amy’s ring hammer, Knuckle’s slam, and Sonic Dash’s ring magnet etc. The game offers amazing features where you get to race with a maximum of three characters in their all-new Team Play mode and earn high scores.
The players get to be Sonic, the Hedgehog in the game while other characters are Tails, Amy, Knuckles and the Hedgehog’s new friend, Sticks. The dazzling new game, Sonic Dash has a part 2 which features the cast of the famous TV series, Sonic Boom.
